Directions
After taking the Hexenwasser gondola lift (Söll) or the Hohe Salve cable car to Hochsöll or the Salvenbahn cable car (Hopfgarten), the trail starts at the summit of the Hohe Salve. The sundial trail starts at the mountain station, where I follow the trail of time. I find various instruments along the way that show me the daily and annual rhythms of the sun. The winding paths of the sun, moon and stars are also visible here. As I enjoy the magnificent view, I can hardly imagine that the mountains have been around forever. They are timelessly beautiful.
