Directions

Your destination on the Hartkaiser hut tour is Ellmi's Zauberwelt at the Hartkaiser mountain station in Ellmau. You start this hike at the Ellmau hiking information point in the village center. Start at the Hartkaiserbahn valley station, which you leave to the left, and take the first ascent to Faistenbichl (Bergdoktorhaus). Pass the Bergschenke restaurant and take the forest path in the direction of Rübezahl Alm and Jägerhütte. Here you can take short and long culinary breaks. One last climb and then you've made it! After a visit to the panoramic terrace of the Bergkaiser restaurant, you can discover the enchanted forest in Ellmi's Zauberwelt. You can ride downhill in comfort on the Hartkaiserbahn cable car.
