Giant trail circular hike

RiesenWelt theme trail: Silleralm via Filzalmsee

  • Starting point: Brixen im Thale cable car
  • Pure walking time: 1 hour
  • Length: 3 km
  • Level: Easy with moderate inclines
  • Suitable for baby carriages

Directions

The circular trail starts with an ascent on the Hochbrixen gondola lift. Next to the mountain station, the path leads from the nearby Filzalmsee lake towards the Filzalm. At the fork in the path where I go straight ahead, I can admire the giant eye and carry out all kinds of experiments. Passing the giant xylophone, I reach the crossroads in the direction of the Silleralm. There I look into the belly of the giant cow and watch how the food moves. Further attractions follow on the way back to the Filzalmsee: giant scales, a giant comb and a stream playground with a mill wheel make children's eyes light up.
