Winter hiking trail - Salvenbahn to the Salvenalm

Tip

If you prefer a more gentle pace, you can take the Salvenbahn 1 cable car up and walk from there to the Salvenalm.

Directions

Option 1: This short winter hike in Hopfgarten begins with a ride on the Salvenbahn I cable car in Hopfgarten. Get off at the middle station and make your way up to the Salvenalm. The Salvenalm (and also the Tenner Stadl) are located directly on piste 21/22 and are therefore an ideal meeting point for hikers and skiers.

Option 2: The starting point for the longer hike is the Hopfgarten Info Centre. From there, the trail leads to the Salvenbahn valley station. Shortly before this, the Lindrainweg turns off to the right. Follow trail no. 65, past the Sunnseit Hut, to reach the Salvenbahn middle station. From there, follow the road to the Salvenalm.
