At Alpinolino Westendorf, the alpine discovery park on the Talkaser adventure area (1,770 m) in Westendorf, it's all about fun and adventure.

Discover new wonders under every stone! From "Look!" to "Wow!": For clever foxes, nimble weasels and real explorers, the Alpinolino in Westendorf takes you on an exciting journey of discovery between the Talkaser and Choralpe mountains. Many animal puzzles, lots of fun and even more natural wonders await you on the "Himmelsteig", "Holzwurmweg" and "Adlerhorst". You can also get really excited: With our "Spoggolino" marble run, one thing is guaranteed: All around the Choralpe, young and old alike will be rolling their heads in glee! So be curious to see what's coming up!

Alpinolino children's parties

It's especially cool every Monday in July and August: at the Alpinolino children's parties for everyone aged 4 to 12 (10.30 - 12.30).

Panoramic hike for everyone

The Kreuzjöchlsee is one of the most popular hiking destinations in the region. At around 1,700 m, the lake blends harmoniously into the unique mountain landscape. The wonderful panoramas are particularly worth the easy hike. Here you can experience why the grass mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps are so popular. The Westendorf Alpenrosenbahn cable car takes you comfortably to the starting point of the tour, the Talkaser.

Rain in the Alpinolino

The Alpenrosenbahn cable car takes me up to Alpinolino, sheltered from the wind. Short themed trails await me there (maximum walking time 1.5 hours). I can always find shelter in the inns and snack stations along the way , especially on the Holzwurmweg, which leads from the middle station into the valley. But the Himmelsteig trail at the mountain station is also completed in 1.5 hours and I can warm up at the Talkaser mountain restaurant before taking the gondola back down into the valley.

Accessibility at Alpinolino

The Alpinolino ErlebnisWelt is partly suitable for baby carriages.
A path suitable for baby carriages leads from the mountain station to the Gasthof Brechhornhaus. Families with baby carriages can also take a tour of the Alpinolino via the Fleidingalm. Back carriers for small children can be hired from the mountain railroad or flight school.

Festival in Westendorf in August 2024, we would like to invite you to the 2nd Bike & Fly. Festival Brixental in August 2025. We are looking forward to providing you with a variety of competitions, exciting flight and bike shows and of course a lot of live music again. For three days, the Alpenrosenbahn valley station in Westendorf will be transformed into a spectacular event with something for everyone. Whether adrenaline junkie or pleasure-seeker, young or old - a varied program is offered for all age groups. With exciting activities and unforgettable experiences, boredom is guaranteed to be a thing of the past. On all three days of the festival, the Bike and Paragliding Testival takes center stage, where visitors have the opportunity to try out the latest equipment and get advice from experts. Here, the latest bikes can be tested or the thrill of paragliding experienced - all against the impressive backdrop of the Tyrolean Alps. Numerous live bands, breathtaking air shows and a spectacular mountain bike show will also provide the best entertainment, thrilling the audience with daring stunts and impressive performances. The perfect combination of action and show that will captivate everyone. We hope to welcome back the Wanderbird Cup, a hike & fly competition under the patronage of Paul Guschelbauer, one of the most successful cross-country pilots in the world, in cooperation with Red Bull, in 2025. On Sunday, the day begins with a relaxed morning pint. Musical entertainment will be provided, while local specialties and refreshing drinks will be available to enjoy the day to the full. Throughout the weekend, there are tandem flights, bike rental and guided bike and fly tours for all adventure-seekers. Whether you want to take off or whizz through the mountains on two wheels - there's an adventure for everyone! Family sunday at the Talkaser
"Family Sunday and Children's Festival at Talkaser. Programme: At 11:30 a.m. the mountain mass will take place at the Talkaser mountain restaurant with musical accompaniment by the Bundesmusikkapelle Westendorf under the direction of Kapellmeister René Schwaiger. This will be followed by a concert by the Musikkapelle Westendorf and a cosy get-together with the Hinterlechners. From 13:00 p.m. the Inntalers will play at the Berggasthof Sonnalm. There is also plenty for our little guests. From a children's party to music, there's something for everyone. Reduced fares on the Alpenrosenbahn for adults. Children and young people up to the age of 15 ride free. Continuous operation from 08:30 - 18:00 hrs!
