WOW! SUCH RELIABLE SNOW...

When it comes to snow reliability, the entire SkiWelt is upgrading even more. All cable car companies are once again investing into the improvement and optimisation of their snowmaking systems.

Bergbahn Brixen has invested 1 million euros in snowmaking equipment upgrades! At SkiWelt Hopfgarten too, 700.000 euros were invested in snowmaking and ski run construction. In addition, 2 new slope groomers were purchased. Improvements to snowmaking equipment were also made at SkiWelt Scheffau and 2 new winch devices were also bought. SkiWelt Söll is buying 15 new snow canons and thus investing in snow system improvements! In addition, 2 more new snow groomers have been purchased. SkiWelt Westendorf has invested most notably in a snow depth measuring system, as well as a new snow groomer and snow gun.

80% of all slopes throughout the entire SkiWelt will be equipped with snowmaking as of winter season 2017-18. In total, there are already more than 1,700 snow guns ensuring the best slope conditions at the SkiWelt! Across the SkiWelt there are 15 reservoirs with a total capacity of 1,228,000 m³.
