Chasing the 14th world record for Christian Flühr

World record confirmed!

It's official! Christian Flühr's Guinness World Record has been confirmed: In a single day, he completed a sensational 80 lifts in the KitzSki and SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser-Brixental ski areas. After close scrutiny by Guinness World Records, one thing is certain: this extraordinary achievement will go down in the history of skiing. Flühr himself was overjoyed and thanked his team and the participating ski resorts for their support. Congratulations once again on this impressive achievement!

KitzSki & SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. Christian Flühr, known as "Mr. Ski World Record", is planning a new spectacular record hunt for January 2025. One week after the renowned Hahnenkamm race in Kitzbühel, the 50-year-old wants to set his 14th world record. With the support of the KitzSki team and SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental, Flühr is once again aiming for an entry in the Guinness Book of Records. In his latest record attempt, Christian Flühr has planned a unique project for January 31, 2025: He wants to use 80 different lifts in the KitzSki and SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental ski areas on a single day. The spectacular record chase begins in the KitzSki ski area, from where Flühr will switch to SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental. He then heads back to the KitzSki area and on to the neighboring province of Salzburg to the Resterkogel. His goal: the grand finale on the legendary Hahnenkamm in Kitzbühel.

"My first world record will be exactly 25 years ago next season. It's almost a duty for me to get back on the skis for the anniversary and set a new record." - Christian Flühr

The KitzSki team is also enthusiastic about Flühr's plan:
