The hub in the heart of the SkiWelt: a variety of slopes for young and old.

  • Zahlreiche Aussichtspunkte (Brandstadl, Eiberg, Osthang)
  • Pulverschnee auf der Aualm-Piste
  • Teil der "Kaiser-Runde" (20 Pistenkilometer über 4.000 Höhenmeter durch die SkiWelt)
  • Übungshänge am Berg
  • Talabfahrt für Anfänger
  • Spezielle Kindersicherung bei der Aualm- und Osthangbahn
  • Kinderbetreuung im KinderKaiserland an der Bergstation
  • Kinderland im Tal mit Zauberteppich

The SkiWelt Scheffau is the heart of the SkiWelt: centrally located and easily and quickly accessible from all points, Scheffau is the hub. With a particularly wide variety of pistes, Scheffau has everything for beginners, experts and experts alike.

The vantage points at the mountain stations are also a treat: directly at the Branstadlbahn cable car, you can enjoy a magnificent view of the legendary Wilder Kaiser and at the Osthangbahn mountain station, you can enjoy great views of the open, wide pistes of the SkiWelt and the summit of the Hohe Salve. The view from the "Eiberg-Treff" is even cooler: slightly elevated and from comfortable deckchairs, you can enjoy a 360° panoramic view of the surrounding mountains. With free Wi-Fi (just like at the Brandstadlbahn), you can check the slope status or post the magnificent view to the world. Envy factor: high!

ADVANCED / PLEASURE SKIERS

Experienced skiers will find numerous sporting challenges in Scheffau. For example, the challenging valley run: a real treat in the morning when there is still little "traffic" on the routes into the valley. Or the Aualm piste: Powder guaranteed throughout the day - and for almost the entire season. Not by chance one of the most popular pistes in the SkiWelt.

One of the most attractive SkiWelt circuits is the "Kaiser-Runde" with almost 20 kilometers of pistes and over 4000 meters of altitude. Start and finish ideally in Scheffau - but of course also possible from any other point on the circuit.

BEGINNERS AND NEWCOMERS

Beginners can look forward to many blue, wide & spacious slopes on the mountain. Particularly pleasant: the Scheffau ski area is clearly laid out and easy to navigate, even beginners will quickly find their way around the slopes around the Brandstadl. The blue valley run is also very suitable for inexperienced skiers.

FAMILY / CHILDREN

Families naturally love it relaxed: with many blue pistes on the mountain, Scheffau offers numerous opportunities for skiing fun with the little ones, but the two blue family valley runs are also a delight for families. The Aualm and Osthang lifts are specially designed for little passengers with special child safety devices that prevent the little ones from slipping out during the lift ride. This means stress-free skiing fun for parents and safety for the little ones.

The Scheffau ski school has specialized in childcare for many years with the Kinderkaiserland (ski adventure park) directly at the mountain station. A very special hit are the "mini carvers" developed by the ski school itself - special skis for the very youngest, who can playfully take their first steps on the children's slopes - even without their own ski boots! Every year there are new attractions and innovations for children's ski training, with which the little ones learn their first turns in a playful way.

The Salvenmoser ski school's Kinderland with magic carpet & conveyor belt is located in the valley.

EXPERIENCES

A hit for amateur racers and all those who want to "know": the Skimovie course on the Sündhang piste: A "real" giant slalom is set here every day. It starts professionally in an original World Cup start house - timekeeping and video recording included. You can conveniently download your personal ski movie via your Skiline account or watch it on site at the Brandstadl mountain station at the Skiline terminal.

For freeriders, Scheffau offers the Moderer Route, an ingenious, unprepared ski route, which is only open when there is enough snow.

For technology freaks, Scheffau offers a somewhat different experience: exciting insights into the world of snow production and preparation - although appointments are only available on request.

Attractive apres-ski bars can be found directly at the valley station - good sound and lots of fun guaranteed after a successful day's skiing. - A separate bus & group ticket office for faster processing of groups prevents waiting times and traffic jams at the ticket offices. Because we know: every minute on the slopes counts!

Don't miss out on your own ski movie!
