Plenty of variety on the slopes, a wide range of offers for families and a colorful nightlife - SkiWelt Ellmau has the right offer and plenty of variety for all winter vacation wishes. There are numerous slopes around the Hartkaiser, including many insider tips for every taste. From steep slopes for experts ("Black East" on the valley descent) to wide, family-friendly, sunny pistes, the range of slopes will delight every winter sports enthusiast, from beginners to families to piste pros.

Take a break and enjoy the many beautiful viewpoints in the Ellmau ski area: for example, right at the mountain station on the Hartkaiser with a fantastic view of the Wilder Kaiser and the mountains of the Kitzbühel Alps.

Many slopes will delight ambitious skiers. For example, the valley run on the Hartkaiser with the infamous "Black East" and many great sections as variants to the standard run - a real experience, especially in the morning, as long as the slopes are "fresh" and the valley runs are generally still less frequented. Freeriders love the "White-Kögel": the unprepared descent from the Köglbahn.

One of the most attractive SkiWelt circuits is the "Kaiser-Runde" with almost 20 kilometers of pistes and over 4000 meters of altitude. Start and finish ideally in Ellmau or Going - or also possible from any other point on the circuit.

Beginners and newcomers can look forward to many easy (blue) and intermediate (red) slopes, wide and spacious runs, practice lifts on the mountain, as well as the family-friendly blue valley run on the Hartkaiser. Many ski trails take the edge off difficult passages and make most of the runs in SkiWelt Ellmau easily accessible for less experienced skiers. The large practice area in the valley (Ellmau practice meadow) is ideal for beginners. The ski school with locations at the valley and mountain stations provides the best training for all winter sports enthusiasts.

Families are also well catered for with the many easy (blue) pistes in Ellmau. The new 10-seater Hartkaiserbahn gondola is also particularly family-friendly: with an extra-long entrance and the new middle station, the new gondola offers plenty of comfort and more flexibility with the option of getting on and off halfway up.

At the top station is the "Hartkaiser adventure paradise" with its own children's restaurant, childcare for toddlers and adventure ski school for children. Ellmi's Kids Club offers childcare for toddlers from the age of 2 at the mountain station.

The Ellmauer Kinderland next to the Kirchbichlift offers all-round care for children, as does the Bobo Kinderland (Kids Fun Park) & Bobo Kids Club of the 1st Ellmau Ski & Snowboard School.

Always an experience for the little ones: Ellmi's Winter World - many stations of the summer adventure world can also be marveled at in the winter season from this year.

The Intersport Kaiserpark offers fun park experiences for riders of all levels, from beginners to pros. The location right next to the Tanzbodenbahn is sunny and centrally located in the SkiWelt. There is an Easyline with 3 boxes (Flat - Up & Down - Flat) and an Expertline with 5 boxes and rails (Flatrail - Wallridespine-Rainbowbox - Flatbox - Kinkedbox & Picknicktable), plus a 2-person kicker combo & 2-person scooter combo and a chill-out area with deckchairs and relaxed sound for chilling out.

Racing is allowed on the speed measuring track at the Almbahn: here you can see who is the best on skis and who is the bravest - or who has the best contact with the wax experts at the ski service center...

Even those who prefer to enjoy winter without winter sports have numerous options in Ellmau: The Bergkaiser panorama restaurant (self-service & waiter service) directly on the Hartkaiser offers a unique panoramic view of the Wilder Kaiser, the Leukental valley and the Kitzbüheler Horn. Many wonderful winter hiking trails on the Hartkaiser also offer wonderful views of the mountain world with the Wilder Kaiser, Loferer Steinberge and Kitzbühel Alps. And those looking for experiences in the evening hours will find plenty of options in Ellmau: Après-ski bars, cozy inns, nice cafés, excellent restaurants.

The hi-tech 10-seater Hartkaiserbahn gondola with middle station & WLAN in the SkiWelt Ellmau also represents a quantum leap in terms of service: the SkiWelt Ellmau valley station has been completely rebuilt with a sports store, heated ski depot covering 1500 m², restaurant, apres ski bar and free underground car park with 150 spaces. New at the mountain station: the "Erlebniseldorado Hartkaiser" with its own children's restaurant, childcare for small children, ski school with adventure children's ski school and ski depot.

You can reach Ellmau quickly and directly via the A12 highway: take the Kufstein Süd exit, then the Eibergstraße (B173) and the Loferer Bundesstraße (B178) directly to Ellmau - or coming from St. Johann/Kitzbühel, also via the B178. There are plenty of free parking spaces near the lift, as well as a new parking garage for 150 vehicles directly at the Hartkaiserbahn valley station.
