Our mountain inn is located in Oberwindau directly on the cycle and hiking trail to the Brechhorn. With a beautiful south-facing terrace and a breathtaking view of the Windau valley, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy delicious food and drinks.

On our small but fine menu you will find Tyrolean specialities, which we prepare and serve our own way.
In addition to the regular menu, we also serve daily specials and are open in the evening for a delicious dinner.

Every Sunday ; ‘Mountain Brunch’
Every Sunday there is a ‘mountain brunch’ at the Gassnerwirt.
The rich brunch is served at the table and includes various types of fresh bread, sweets, homemade jams, spreads and cold cuts, hot dishes, a soup, yoghurt with homemade muesli, orange juice and water at the table, 2 hot drinks of your choice and a glass of Prosecco to welcome you.
When the weather is fine, you can enjoy the sun on our terrace and brunch with a view of the mountains. In bad weather it is of course warm and cosy inside.
We serve brunch from 10.30 to 14.00. Reservations are required and can be made up to one day in advance. The price is 23.50 euros per person
