Westendorf-Brechhornhaus-Choralpe bike tour

From the Hof district in Brixen im Thale, the route leads steadily uphill along a forest path for around 3 km to the Berggasthof Kandleralm at 1,120 m (refreshments available). From here, the route continues uphill for a short distance until it joins a long forest road with a slight incline. At the end of the forest road, the route continues steadily uphill past the Hocheggalm and the Karalm. The last, very steep section of the route begins here, which leads over the ski slope to the Choralpe mountain station at 1,806 m. Then descend to the mountain station of the Alpenrosenbahn cable car and down into the valley.
