SkiWelt Westendorf. Downhill runs and practice areas in the valley in SkiWelt Westendorf are guaranteed snow. The new Aiblboden lake makes it possible. The new 90,000m³ Aiblboden Lake is a natural snow pond near the middle station of SkiWelt Westendorf.

"The aim is to be able to make technical snow on the valley runs and all areas close to the valley, including the popular ski-in & ski-out practice meadow area in the village center, even with short snowmaking windows. Another advantage is that the water is already there in the fall when needed and is also available at a much colder temperature, allowing the cable cars to make snow even more resource-efficiently. In the course of the construction work, the slopes will also be adapted. Run 110 in the "Ellmerer Schlag" area will be widened and thus made safer."
