Freeride - deep snow skiing - ski touring Freeride - the ultimate deep snow fun in the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental and Kitzbühel Alps By using the perfect lifts of the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental and short ascents with or without skins, you experience the ultimate deep snow enjoyment away from the pistes and make your powder turns in the midst of unspoilt nature. Requirements: enthusiastic skiers who are not afraid of a short ascent, are in good physical condition, are ready for new experiences and want to improve their technique. 200 bis 500hm | 1 bis 4km | Children from 11 years Registration: by Tuesday 17:00 online or at a tourist information centre in the Wilder Kaiser region Participants: min. 4 persons to max. 6 persons (2 or 3 persons possible with surcharge) Equipment: Freeride skis with ascent bindings or touring skis, poles, rucksack with some food, full avalanche equipment (avalanche transceiver, shovel, probe) (you can find all hire options here), experience in deep snow Costs: € 125.00 per person | payment in cash directly to the provider | additional costs: ski pass & possibly taxi Duration: from 8:30 to approx. 15:00 Meeting point: Hartkaiserbahn valley station, Weißachgraben 5, Ellmau The programme is available daily on request from the Schonner Alpine School! As part of the JANUARY plus offer period, free ski guiding through the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental from Scheffau is offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Requirement for participation is safe skiing on red slopes. Registration: by 16:00 the day before online or at a tourist info office in the Wilder Kaiser region Participants: min. 4 persons to max. 10 persons, only for guests with JANUARY plus bonus pass Equipment: ski equipment, ski pass for the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser - Brixental Costs: free of charge Duration: from 09:00 to approx. 15:00 Meeting point: At the "Kinderalm" ski school office (right opposite of the mountain station Brandstadlbahn in the SkiWelt Scheffau) Please note: Safe skiing on red slopes is a requirement for participation. This is not a ski lesson, but skiing together in the SkiWelt with a guide. Public transport to the meeting point: free of charge with the Wilder Kaiser GuestCard, click here to plan your route. This programme item can only be used once with the JANUARY plus Bonus Pass. The JANUARY plus bonus pass is available to guests with a valid Wilder Kaiser GuestCard at all tourist info offices in the Wilder Kaiser region. You will receive your Wilder Kaiser GuestCard for free upon arrival at your accomodation in Going, Ellmau, Scheffau and Söll. During the 'JANUARY plus' weeks, all overnight guests with a valid guest card can expect free ski guiding through the SkiWelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental from Monday to Friday. The liveliest ski huts in Austria's largest ski area! There's no getting tired of the snow here! There's ski guiding to make the most of skiing through the SkiWelt for all overnight guests with a valid Wilder Kaiser GuestCard. Registration: by Wed 04:00 p.m.; online or at any toursit offices of the region Participants: min. 3 - max 10 persons Price: free of charge, exklusively with Wilder Kaiser Guest Card Meeting point: 09:00 a.m. at the chair lift station of the Astbergbahn Going Please note: Guests must be able to ski on red slopes (medium difficulty) Public transport to the meeting point: free of charge with Wilder Kaiser GuesteCard, click here for route planning. If something unforeseen happens, a free cancellation is possible until 12:00 noon the day before. You will receive the Wilder Kaiser GuestCard for free upon arrival at your accommodation in the towns of Going, Ellmau, Scheffau, Söll, and will need to show that at the start of your tour. Participation is at your own risk. Program changes are possible. You will receive the  bonuspass in the tourist offices of the region against presentation of the Wilder Kaiser guestcard. During the Kaiser Weeks, all overnight guests with a valid Wilder Kaiser Guest Card and Bonus Pass can enjoy ski guiding through the Skiwelt Wilder Kaiser Brixental from Monday to Friday.
