In SkiWelt Brixen, you can access the ski area directly and experience pure skiing pleasure. The pistes on the sunny side of the Brixental Valley offer everything from leisurely carving to challenging descents over the Hohe Salve, the south slope or at the Käbersalven lift.
Three valley runs are available, including the classic route, the "Kaslach" natural snow run when the snow conditions are right and the scenic Tanzer run. A special highlight is the viewing platform at the Zinsberg cable car with its impressive panorama. If you want to start early, take advantage of the early-bird skiing from mid-February and make your first turns on freshly groomed pistes from 7.30 am.
Two valley gondolas take you quickly to the ski area - one up towards Hochbrixen, the other towards Choralpe/Westendorf. The practice lift on the mountain, many easy to intermediate slopes and the ski schools are ideal for beginners. Families will love the "Kinder-SkiWelt" area with Bobo's Miniclub from the age of 3, children's club, conveyor belts, its own practice lift and spacious pistes. The speed measuring track promises excitement, while the scenic high-altitude trail in Hochbrixen is another highlight for cross-country skiers.

Ski lifts in Brixen
Access to SkiWelt Brixen is via two valley gondolas for skiers and pedestrians: one leads up towards Hochbrixen, the other towards Choralpe/Westendorf. There are practice lifts and conveyor belts right next to the valley stations, which are ideal for beginners and children.
Important connecting lifts are the Kälbersalvenbahn, the Filzbodenbahn and the Zinsbergbahn. They lead to Hopfgarten, Söll or Scheffau. There are also many easy lifts, for example the Schusterbühel lift, the practice lift and the Poldanger lift on Hochbrixen - perfect for beginners and families. The Zinsberg lift is a combined lift and can also be used by pedestrians to reach the viewing platform.

Slopes in Brixen
The Kälbersalven downhill runs are ideal carving pistes and the valley run delights with exciting transitions. The Kandler downhill run is particularly varied and offers challenging black and red passages and many terrain transitions. Beginners can use the practice lift in Hochbrixen to ski on the mountain for the first time.

Arrival & mobility
You can reach Brixen im Thale by car via the Inntal motorway (A12), exit Wörgl-Ost (toll-free). If you are travelling by train , take the direct train to Brixen im Thale station. Alternatively, St. Johann or Wörgl are also good starting points, from where you can continue by bus or taxi. The nearest airport is Innsbruck, or alternatively Munich or Salzburg.
