Brixen im Thale is one of the most varied destinations in the SkiWelt. Wide pistes, many descents and a great children's ski area - SkiWelt Brixen im Thale offers plenty of variety for all abilities. The fact that the ski area is located on the sunny side of the Brixental Valley is yet another plus point: you can really enjoy a day's skiing here...

ADVANCED / PLEASURE SKIERS

Demanding skiers will find a variety of slopes of varying degrees of difficulty in Brixen: the descent from the summit of the Hohe Salve (accessible via Hopfgarten or Söll) via the southern slope is a special experience, but the slopes of the Kälbersalven lift are also popular with carving fans. There are no fewer than three valley runs to choose from in Brixen: The "regular" valley run with many medium-steep slopes and exciting transitions, the unique "Kaslach" natural snow run (only open when there is enough snow - this also has several steep sections and terrain edges) and of course a very special tip for experts: the Tanzer run: one of the most beautiful valley runs in the SkiWelt. Particularly scenic, simply to enjoy. There is a shuttle bus service that takes ski adventurers back to the Brixen valley station. And another tip: the SkiWelt gondola lift takes you directly from the Brixen valley station to the opposite side of the valley to Westendorfer Choralpe. From here, one of the most challenging pistes leads down into the valley: the Kandler downhill run: varied, with many transitions, wide pistes for carving and fast passages - simply a pleasure.

BEGINNERS AND NEWCOMERS

Brixen also offers numerous opportunities for an easy introduction to winter sports: the Aktiv ski school (at the valley station) and the Brixen im Thale ski school (Hochbrixen mountain station) offer ski courses, snowboard courses, private lessons - with individual professional training from beginners to experts. A separate practice lift on the mountain for beginners with an easier slope makes it easier to get started, and there are also many easy and medium-difficulty slopes for beginners. The valley run (1b) from Hochbrixen also allows beginners to reach the valley safely and relaxed.

FAMILY / CHILDREN

With the "Kinder-SkiWelt" practice area in Hochbrixen with Bobo's Miniclub (3-4 years) and the children's club (from 3 years), its own practice lift, the active children's area with various levels of difficulty and two conveyor belts, Brixen offers the best conditions for beginners of all ages and for a vacation with the kids. Many wide and perfectly groomed slopes invite young and old to ski together.
Particularly attractive: ski depots directly at the valley and mountain stations of the Hochbrixen gondola lift - who wants to lug their skis around on vacation...?

EXPERIENCES

Who is the fastest on the slopes? The speed measuring track at the Filzbodenbahn provides the answer. Fun for everyone from young to old!

SkiWelt Brixen also offers a slalom course for everyone, set up right by the Zinsberg lift.

Brixen offers a small but great experience with night skiing at the Schusterbühellift. Ideal for beginners who want to enjoy a night-time experience on the slopes. This night skiing experience is included in the SkiWelt ski pass.

SkiWelt also offers plenty of opportunities for fans of Nordic skiing with a total of 196 km of perfectly groomed trails. An absolute highlight is the Hochbrixen high-altitude trail: beautifully situated, it offers quiet trail enjoyment and reliable snow conditions until the end of the season.
